The purpose of the MOT test is to ensure a vehicle meets the minimum safety level required by law. If a vehicle is 3-years old or more (4 years in Northern Ireland), it is required by law to have an annual safety check completed on the vehicle. Any minibus with 16 seats and a driver are required to have an annual MOT.
If your vehicle is fully maintained the cost of your MOT is covered by Agility Fleet. If the vehicle fails the MOT, provided it is not due to damage or abuse, Agility will cover the cost of what needs to be done to ensure your vehicle passes the safety check.
It will always be the driver’s responsibility to ensure an MOT is completed, however, Agility will send reminders to advise when these are due.
